Was just passing through town and looking for a place to eat late at night. Truly a very cool bar atmosphere, and the fried fish was surprisingly tasty! Worth the stop anytime
Ended up at Jody's as several of the places we'd planned in going to were closed on Monday. What a great circumstance! We sat outside and it was perfect - not sure why the bugs left us alone but we'll take it. We all had fish - blue gill and perch.....absolutely delicious- hot and crisp- salad was fresh and the tomatoes were exactly as a summer tomato should be. This will be a go to as opposed to a after thought next trip up
Ive ate nearly everything on the menu at jodies! The food is very good. The steaks come cooked to perfection. Sure there can be a short wait at times but come on, its a small kitchen and orders are prepared fresh when the order comes in. That can take a few extra minutes and its well worth the wait.. They have a big menu and lots of drinks. New comfy bar stools and plenty of seats for a large group. The locals are friendly and have plenty of hunting and fishing stories.
I love this little bar!! The food is always good!! Service is great! The owner is a wonderful lady and is so good to her employees! Friday night fish fry is the best around! Karaoke on Friday nights is also a lot if fun! I Cant say enough good things about this bar!!!
